I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). As a graduate of the 5 year Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Program, I also hold an undergraduate degree from Western University. With extensive training and experience in trauma counselling, somatic therapy, mindfulness and crisis intervention, I also actively engage in anti-oppressive practices that support inclusion, diversity and respect.
I remember wanting to be a therapist at a young age. I always felt compelled to help people and support them through tough times. I believe that in part has come from my own difficult life experiences and knowing what it’s like to be sitting in the client’s chair. It takes a leap of faith and trust in your gut that it’s okay to reach out and try something new.
I incorporate empathy, creativity, humour and compassion as key principles of my practice. Together we explore areas of your life you feel stuck in with a holistic approach to your personal growth and well-being.
